Owned and operated by the Allard family and located in the rolling hills of Tottenham, Woodington Lake is a highly respected semi-private golf facility ranked as one of Ontario’s finest.
Purchased in 1994 in a semi-completed state, the golf course underwent a major redesign and was opened to rave reviews in 1995. In 1999, Woodington Lake opened its unique 30,000 square foot clubhouse – with facilities for tournaments, banquets, private boardroom meetings, weddings, and other social functions. Gatherings of 30 to 300 can be accommodated depending on the particular need. The clubhouse offers outstanding cuisine, spectacular views, and superb locker room facilities. The fully stocked pro shop offers a large selection of golf clubs and other golf related merchandise, at competitive prices.
Harry Allard, in addition to being a longtime CPGA professional, has a very extensive background in the design, building and operating of first class golf facilities. He built Emerald Hills Golf course (home of the 1988 Canadian PGA Championship) which he sold in 1989. After a short lived retirement Mr. Allard purchased a partially completed course, and created the new Woodington Lake.
Mr. Allard’s complete golf vision for Woodington Lake Golf Club will be finalized with a second 18 holes, destined to become one of Ontario’s greatest golf challenges. The additional 18 hole course will open for limited public play this June, the long term objective being to have a strong membership base hat one course will support and a second course to accommodate corporate and public play.
